Are you as bad as that lil' ho' on the Surreal Life who wants her some of Peter's peter?

Oh hell no...If I were the lil ho on Surreal Life I'd be all over Marcus Schenkenburg...but NO...I have no sexual interest in Peter Brady. He's too old for one...and I've been watching the show since I was a kid so he's more like a brother to me :D I'm just a HUGE Brady fan...I watched two hours of Brady expose Saturday morning, and I've been watching my first season dvd my hunny got me since the day I got it! :D

That's what I figured...so two half bottles of wine split over 3.5 hours for a fella your size...no way could you have been even legally drunk.
You are begging me to get a drunk calcluator out. I am a light weight, so that is all I can go on. 2 Sierra Nevadas and I am blasted.

Damn dude! I though that I was a big spender for taking my woman to Top of the Hub in Boston for her 21st b-day. Ended up being a little over $200. Its on the 52nd floor of the Prudential Center and has awesome views in every direction. We can even see our favorite trails!
But it is well worth it to do something like that every so often. I would rather spend $ on food than jewelry. Luckily K agrees. You can't eat a ring!
$200+ IS a lot for a meal no doubt about it. This was just a special occasion, + we've been together for 11 years now.

peeps need to realize a few things here.

1) the french laundry is perhaps the highest esteemed restaurant in the country. it's not like he's going to the best steak house in the city.

2) it's a tasting menu, so not only are there are a lot of dishes, they are fairly intricate and of the highest quality ingredients.

3) brian's loaded.

;)

i didn't eat there, but if you haven't been to a nice french restaurant, i'd highly recommend it. french food has been painted w/ a stereotype that it's all fussy food w/ little of it to eat. hit up a bistro and get some good rustic french cooking, like coq au vin or duck confit. :thumb:

the french laundry of course takes the cuisine to the highest possible level, w/ prices to match (a friend of mine went a few months ago and raved about it).

Mmmm...... coq au vin. Had a fabulous incarnation of that in St. Emilion when we were on our European holiday.

Another good "substantial" dish I had was Veal Normandy. Yum.

Sounds like good eatin.

My wife is serving couples $500 meals tonight. They leave on clouds.

Gosh, all I did on the 2nd was get married.

I had some kick as mediterranian food at the wedding, all made by mom.
Pomegranate chicken...tabouli...

She made all the food for 110 people, plus the cake, and all the decor for the ceremony. Unstoppable.

Geez, I hope MBC does not read this thread. Julie gets a mondo-expensive dinner and diamond earrings on your anniversary? We have #4 coming up and I was thinking of maybe getting MBC a card. :monkey:
