creating this thread for 4th of July firework pics.... also asking for advice as well....

I'll be shooting Full Manual, 21 point, Tungseng ISO 200 F8 - F16, remote trigger & tripod....

Sure shout about shutter speed just yet, ideally i'll be using BULB, but lets see how it works, it will be tricky this year because they moves the fireworks from the East River (NYC) to the Hudson River.... now i need to scout a spot to take the pics at....

I said to my wife " you're not going to get anything good taking pics like that"

Then she got these 2. Personally if you've seen one "firework" pic you've seen them all. Thats just me though.

Here. I'm just not sure where "here" is.
Shot these last year. This year, I think I'll be a little farther away. We sere sitting almost underneath the explosions.

Edit: used my wired remote and tripod, turned off any image stabilization there was.
