going heigh instead of far -
is that a matter of technique or does it mostly have to do with the shape of the jump?
suppose im carrying too much speed into a jump
cant i go heigh instead of too far?
to conserve my forward momentum and not have to brake?
if i can do it with technique, how is it done?

it all has to do with having built a jump that is too short but big enough that moving it feels like a major task
also the variety in going far sometimes and heigh other would be welcome
thank you
rasmus
ps the jump is just short of 5' tall with a 10'6'' radius, and the landing is 7' or 8' away

Can you bunnyhop?
It's a similar motion off the lip of a jump or ramp if you want more height.
The farther BACK you pull with your hop, the higher you'll go.
Make your lip steeper - that will naturally send you up instead of out, as well.
