As there has been a delay in the building of the official trailhead at the bottom of the trail system, the dedication of the Sandy Ridge will be postponed until that construction is complete. Construction is slated to start later this summer. The trail care day for June 4th will be also canceled.
Please consider attending the Stub Stewart State Park National Trails Day (June 4th) event, complete with a showing of the documentary film "Pedal Driven".
Volunteers: Thanks for all your contributions this season. The lower part of Hide & Seek has been armored and maintained this past winter by your efforts, as well as adding many berms and rollers, making the trail the best it's been since opening.
The drawing for the Ibis Mojo HD bike (donated by Fat Tire Farm) as well as other prizes for the Sandy Ridge incentive program will occur the evening of June 18th during the 9:00pm Portland premiere screening of Clay Porter's latest movie "3 Minute Gaps", shown at the Hollywood Theater. This is a benefit for NWTA and Sandy Ridge.
