Met up with a buddy yesterday for an early ride (before the heat had a chance to set in). We did about 3 hours/15 miles at one of my favorite local trails.

Kind of a rough, not-so-well-groomed section of trail

Don't stop here... Ants pretty much cover the ground

A little runoff ditch. Very easy to endo of you aren't ready for it

Nothing exciting

A rough, fast section that leads up to the runoff ditch (same one as above)

A really nice, fast section

It amazes me how the camera can make this look basically flat. It's a pretty steep killer of a climb

upstate NY - in the town of Maine. It's about 30 minutes from my house. It's all state forest land.

Those are the smaller ant hills. Earlier in the trail, there are much larger ones. You really don't stop in that section of trail...
