nope, not that old NRBQ classic. the wife just left for Rome to spend a few days w/ her sister, and it's me w/ the younguns left behind. hopefully a Lord of the Flies scenario won't unfold, but you never know. also, the kids won't starve because i know how to cook, but luckily the wife did a bunch of laundry before she left. 
she went away from a weekend out to Denver last year, but 5 days is by far the longest she's been away from either kid. no crying or yelling yet.
