i was able to get in on this order. limited edition, only 50 offered/built. i satisfied my singlespeed AND cyclocross curiousity/itch with this frameset. hoping to like CX to stay fit and train for DH/4X

Nice looking frame - good to see the doctor salary being put to good use.
Love the paint, especially the fork. Maybe you'll be the one lucky person to get the complete bike instead! That thing was hot, saw it at Interbike...
look at what the brown santa dropped off! paint looks nice, but it looks like i'll hafta face the BB and chase the threads. i've never had a carbon steerer fork before...NEAT!

What is the style of headset (I guess standard 1 1/8) and the seat post size?

-surly SS hubs (heavy, i know) with 14/15 DT spoke and Mavic open pros
-white industries trials 18T freewheel
-ultegra or dura ace crankset
-maxxis or schwalbe CX tires
probably brown grips and brown ti-railed saddle of some sort.
unfortunately, no carbon bits
but i hope the bike will weigh under 20lbs...
the headset is "campy-style"...i think. it came with a FSA headset. The cartridge bearings i can press by hand into the headtube. i don't know squat about cutting or installing a carbon steerered fork...i think i may take it to my LBS and have them do it.

gotta maintain my mountain bike roots! i just frankly dislike drop bars and prefer wider bars.
cutting the steerer tube isnt such a big deal, but the shop should have that nice little tool that will do it in a straight line

Should still be under 20lbs, even with those wheels.
