while browsing around the net i found this place. and figured i would sign up here as well ...

i am a 'new again' mountain biker ... just started up again around Feb of this year ... before that (back in the 80's) i did bmx and freestyle ...

thats my current setup ... nothing fancy .. but it gets me the cuts and bruises i deserve haha ...

i am also working on a 29er bike ... or will be once another paycheck rolls around so i can get the parts (got the frame already) ...

anyone else on this site from the North Louisiana area?

Welcome to the Monkay! I'm just starting up freestyle (kids call it flatland now) and am getting frustrated out my ass! I'm sticking with it though and can do hydrants and steamrollers now. I may be asking you for some tips in the future.

so thats what its called now haha ...

i doubt i would be much good for tips .. as most of what i know is very dated (that and the fact that i now weight 235 .. was about 130 back when i did that stuff) ...
