This was my first newer 'nice' car. I got it 4 1/2 years ago and has given me the chance to do a lot of cool things (road trips to Downieville, Tahoe, etc for biking) and really cannot complain about the car. It heald 5 people and 5 bikes + gear for everyone. Now that I have a job close to home and can ride my bike to work, I wanted to get a smaller sporty car that I can work on etc myself.

It was a great car and really came a long way since I first got it. It will be missed. I overheard the new owner before leaving tell his buddy hes going to run it into the ground. Oh well. =\

When I first got it:

How I sold it today:

Now I am on the hunt for its replacement.

That windshield looks hard to see out of. But the color reminded me of my last car.

Here is my car before the Audi. I really miss it... Stage 5 G60 Corrado.

And for car shows it looked like this: =]

I am looking to get a car of lesser value for sure so no new cars for me.

I am looking at vw GTI's, BMW 318ti's, maybe another Corrado. Who knows.

looking for classic NE singletrack
You should get the new Scirocco then
*if* they bring it to the US, and *if*it's priced similar to what it sells for in the UK (wider track, lighter weight, slightly less than the GTI), yes.

Unfortunately, how much do you want to bet that they'll either Americanize it or make it into the new R32 and price it 7-10k more than the current GTI?
