It was at one of the local supermarkets...not the fine establishments most of you seem to frequent. Shoot me for never having seen it before and enjoying it. I'll be sure to bump the 'beer connoisseur' aspirations to the top of my list.
It's better than "33" from Vietnam....wow....I thought I'd had some crap before...
See if you can grab some Singha (Thai) or San Miguel (Philippines)...
The best, most refreshing, and least like piss lighter beer I had in Thailand was a beer called Chang. It was better than Bud and got you drunk....only came in 22's and was 6.7% (Prolly closer to 7.2 cause I think the Chinese were lowballing it...)...2 or 3 of those after lunch....whooooooo...that's some goooooood beach drinkin' there...
That's b/c the target market is Brits on a viagra fueled holiday with a 15yo tranny. irate2:
edit: to those referencing the lightness, bake in the blazing thai sun long enough and ANY beer is welcome. We used to vacation in thailand every year and heavy beers are the last thing you want to be drinking all day.
I had a stout made by the same mob who make that dishwater when I was flying back on Singapore Airlines in January. Verdict- nasty but better than the lager.
