Yes, there are lots of "this is the coolest video ever"...but what is this forum for but talking about this stuff. I liked it and wanted to "discuss" it.
The Ft. Williams finish area was the most retardedly fast, high speed jump section I've seen in a while.
The segment showing the run-in and finish of Mt. Ste Anne made my stomach drop. That jump was such a huge step up at speed and the last turn to the finish got me pumped!
Finally, the final segments showing the muddy Worlds course and the series finals in Kaprun & LUgano were humbling. When you see the top pros in the world just wadding it up, falling on their faces and flipping out of control on such a steep pitch, you realize how SICK those 2 courses were.
The video drug a little in sections and there was WAY TOO MUCH "this rider riding Whistler...then this rider at Whistler....then that guy at Whistler..." but all in all, it was really good. Definitely glad I got the DVD to skip over a few little segments, but all in all, it does a fantastic job of raising your heart rate...
Sometimes videos don't do justice to the freakish speed of a National or World Cup race, but this one did. Plus they weren't afraid to show "hot chics dancing", my favorite aspect of a Crusty video!
