I know it sounds odd. I just can't help it nor can I explain it. The sweet smell makes me ill. Every blue moon I'll have a soft icecream cone with the kids and wife but I have to tell me wife what I want and wait outside otherwise I really get an overwhelming feeling of nausea.

The only one in the northeast that I know of is in Springfield, MA.

They're all over the place in the south.

There's locations in both Southborough and Millbury, Mass.

I think that Cold Stone is kind of weak, actually. Yeah, the mix ins are nice & all, but at the core it's just gloppy, half-melted average tasting ice cream. Lots of texture agents & artifical flavors.

I feel that Cold Stone is decent, but overated. Richardson's, Kimball's, Bruster's, and a bunch of local ice cream stands that all make their own ice cream, are all much better, IMO.

I wouldn't have a problem going to Cold Stone with someone else who wanted to go, and could certainly find things to order, but I just don't see why people go so crazy over it. It's decent, not outstanding.
