Justin Havukainen is an austrailian and has always raced as an austrailian. But this year he has switched his UCI country to the USA in hopes he will win our National Championship race!!!! He does have dual citizenship in Austrailia and the US. But so does John Kirkcaldie!! John could have argued and been the US National Champ a couple years back when Todd LeDuc won it, but you didnt see John betraying New Zealand!!! I would feel totally dishoned if I was an Austrailian right now!!!!

The difference is that he was born in America and possibly even has American parents and then moved to australia at a young age.

Actually, the usa never had a national championship before, so it is a completely new event for them. No other national championship on the planet ALLOWS foreigners to comepte, so the US is right on par with everyone else.lockemiester said:
