Hey, anyone know anything/have any opinions on the Zed 3.0. I'm looking at it as a possibility for my new bike (I need to stay under $600). THanks.

hmmm... well. k2 makes alright products i think. i had the attack 2.0 ds bike a year or so ago and the sus link broke. a friends dad has the zed and the drivetrain breaks quite a bit. i personally don't like them and would rather go with something else. but thats just me, some people love um.
i like the kona blasts a lot, right at $600.
if you want to go a little over, then a giant Rainier would be a good choice

Yeah, I may get a change to look at a Kona, depends on if I can get someone to take me to Madison.... Sounds like the K2 is kinda problem laden from what you say though. If anyone else has any stories to share though, please, go right ahead.
I had a K2 Disco Monkey (and still have it actually) and never had any troubles with it at all! In fact, I really loved the bike, just got into racing and needed something lighter.
Definitely look at the Kona line...they make some nice bikes too! Test ride both and which ever feels better is the winner!
