We have our caucuses here Saturday. Choices, choices...

I'm leaning towards Kerry, but Edwards is pretty good too.

If there are any Edwards supporters what can you say about the man that may sway me?

My ex thought Edwards was great and wanted me to vote for him, because he was "humpable."

Then she changed her mind... something about his views on women's issues, but I can't remember what it was.

He is from North Carolina. That in and of itself should be reason enough to vote for him. :D I have actually met him twice. He has a firm handshake and looks you in the eye. But then again all politicians can do that.

This is a pretty cool website and might have the answers you are looking for.

Actually, I believe that ultimately this might be the ticket for the election, Kerry/Edwards.

I think I saw a picture of you some time back. For some reason, I want to say you and Edwards look a little alike. Is that correct?

I received this after helpinga friend with soe easy tax questions:
(after the thank you for help stuff)

(re: WA state Dem Caucus this Sat.)

Are you attending the caucus on Saturday? I'm going with my parents, since I am still registered at home.

I went to John Kerry's rally at the Sheraton last night and would have to rate the whole experience pretty highly; it was pretty inspirational to see the massive support he drew. We waited in line for ages because they had to find more space to pack everyone in... nearly double the crowd that was expected. I'm thinking of volunteering for Kerry's campaign... if you're interested in joining me I'd love the company. I don't think I'll do cold-calling, but thought that I might help out if he comes to town again.

Have a great weekend!

She has known me for more than 23 years...... I guess I don't come off as conservative'ish person in real life. :D

Wow that sure the heck suprised me. :D

Rhino-

It's really about looking past party affiliation. Bush hasn't been acting like a conservative lately. He's a hawk for sure but lot's of Democrats have been traditionally.

If someone like Kerry were to win I think fiscally our country would improve.

So don't be blinded by lables sometimes the Dem. is the right guy for the job.

Believe me it's hard to do, I'm a Libertarian but right now Kerry and Edwards are closest to representing what I beleive in. If a strong Libertarian were to run I would support him or her.

Just ask your self as a conservative, "does Bush really represent what I as a conservative American feel are the important things."

plus a BUMP for Monica!

Regardless of who I want to vote for in November....

Why in gods green earth would I want to spend hours upon hours at a political function?

I don't see myself doing it for any candidate....let alone a Dem caucus. The mere fact that she assumes I would want to go strikes me as funny. I'd rather go biking or do laundry.

i have to agree. i dont look for democrat or republican or conservative or liberal i look for someone that is going to represent my thoughts on what the role of america is and how that should be cariied out by a president. its so distorted now anyway. i mean conservative is not even what conservative used to be. conservative is now sinonymous with spending 500 billion dollars, abusing natural resources and wasting american soldiers lives. most modern conservatives try to conserve as little as possible.

Yeah it is like they swapped sides while we were asleep. ;)

Would you call the Repuplicans in power staunch conservatives? Or somewhere closer to the middle...say a moderate.

Country hasn't voted for a true conservative(or Liberal) in a long time.

They all play just on the other side of the net from each other.

sure they are staunch conservatives when it comes to things like their religious beleifs and family values and ideas on race and things that are becoming outdated along with their views on them. if you look at many "liberal" dems they are the same with religion they value religion and the power and role it plays in many voters lives but they dont by any means think that it is gods given rights to them to be president. Liberal originaly was all about liberaly spending the nations tax dollars on every small art program or welfare program or drug treatment programs. it has become so inter-related that i no longer care what perty a candidate is affiliated with i just want to make sure that the one i vote for posesses the my requirements and adressed the concerns that i think to to be addressed.

well I for one am totally confused what each party represents these days.

And a few more democrat-type policies without a semi-realistic budget and Bush will lose both sides.
