I use the Windows key daily.
as well as Alt/F4 to close windows, F5 to refresh web pages, F7 to spell check in Word, Alt/Tab to go between windows, Num Lock at school to activate the keypad, F1 for help in various programs, F2 to redeal in that one card game I play, and TAB when I need a cool drink....

Windows Key + M gets you to the desktop, there is also a desktop button on the quick launch tool bar next to the start button.
Actually Windows^M minimizes all windows and there no longer accessible.

Windows^D toggles between your Desktop and whatever windows are open.


Thanks to this thread I will now start using the menu/dropdown key, the only key I realized I didn't use.

When your co-worker (who can't type well) is out of their office, sneak in and switch the "m" and "n" keys. They'll have a fit next time they are trying to type something. Hilarious!

I do this all the time to people at work.
