We're kicking off the 2024 Secret Santa! Exchange gifts with other monkeys - from beer and snacks, to bike gear, to custom machined holiday decorations and tools by our more talented members, there's something for everyone.
I would be very surprised to hear that they were open for anything but skiing. Most of the mountains here shut down everything for biking in the winter. Not to mention there's about 2-3 feet of snow on the ground.
That's pretty much what I figured. Well any idea when they reopen the trails to mountain bikes then, I've been trying to figure out a good time to go there for the first time and finally hit up the mountain for some nice riding.
If you're looking for nice riding I'm afraid you'll be dissapointed. I've had Killington season's passes for the last two years and despite the $69 price it really was not worth it. They never build new trails, they built a couple new log rides at the beginning of last season, but within a week they were taken down.
Check out Bolton Valley instead, that place is awesome, they are always building new trails with creative stunts. Its a little muddy and the lift is slow as hell but its well worth it in my opinion.
Unless I end up spending the summer in Colorado I'll be at Bolton every chance I get this season.
