Want to upgrade the LX Deore front and XT rear deraileurs to XTR on a 2000 model KLEIN Attitude Comp.

Does anyone know the size of the front derailleur? Also, is it bottom pull, top swing?

OH! ... and do I have to do anything with the cassette or chain if I upgrade to XTR?

If you're going from 8 to 9 speeds, you will have to change the cassette and chain. Don't know about the sizing...
