Does DH zone have the troy lee pads & raceface pads too?buildyourown said:DH zone has hootes pads in stock. I just went through this.
Raceface/roach and troy lee both make pads with lots of rear calf coverage.
They have the raceface. I'm not sure about the TLD. (I'm thinking no)nohbody said:Does DH zone have the troy lee pads & raceface pads too?

Another good thing about em is since they are strap on's you don't have to stop to take off your shoes to put em on. Easy to put on and take off, you can strap them onto your frame when you don't feel like you need to wear them.nohbody said:That's exactly why I would like to get some!
Yeah, kind of the same reason why I love my Roach DH.....hard cup front, mesh back for some decent coverage. Saved me so many times from falls and pedal slippage.Skookum said:Another good thing about em is since they are strap on's you don't have to stop to take off your shoes to put em on. That's not necessarily true.... i bought 661 and Race Face hard shell pads and immediately sold them for less than half of what i paid after one or two rides, and you'll never hear me endorsing them. i'll never rave about the 661/Roach wrap pads either because while they don't move after a time they chafe the skin, and they don't provide the shell protection that save you from hitting hard. And i won't go to bat all that much for Dianese pads because while they are great for comfort, and have set the standard for protection, but they are spendy and they move (not as badly as others) and the fabric and straps breaks down quickly.Big B said:The trouble with recommendations is people usually recommend what they buy.
On average, everyone buys different things, so your back where you started.![]()
Got a good lead on where to get those. I'm in the renton area, and would prefer not to go through on online vendor to get them.Fox North Shore the best combo of everything i've found so far.
