It's addicting & fairly cheap. Costs me $40 in lumber.
Larger throwing knives work the best because they spin less. The throwing axe's i bought are perfect. They are designed by Kit Rae & sold from any United Cutlery retailer. They stick in every time in any orientation!

So what happens when you miss that little piece of ply?
I don't miss with the axes! Usually the knives will bounce back because your throw has to exactly the same each throw at givin distance.
Anywhere from 12'-24' no problem with the axes.
Small knives are good at 12' close up only. They just are light & spin like crazy!
Heavier bigger knives are good at any distance probably if your good..I have great luck with them at 14' right now throwing hard at the target.
Ninja stars are pretty fun too.
