Looking at the chart is seemed like a 5'11" would be dead center in the 19" frame size. I'm 5' 10" and 175-180. I have an 18" Stinky Deelux which is a perfect fit. The bigger frame will give you a bit longer cockpit length but that is easily solved in the future if needed with a shorter or longer stem. At first I thought I should have gotten a 17" frame. However after riding 1000 miles on it now I'm glad I have the 18" because I don't like the really long extended seat post to make the ride height correct. I feel better with the somewhat less extended seat post of the 18" frame. I adjust my seat post length constantly on trails. I slide it all the way down at the ski area down hills or any other down hill rides. I do like it way up for the long steep sit and spin climbs though, or just normal rides around town.
I also slide the seat all the way in when crossing ladders and logs. I prefer a low center of gravity and quick exit without the seat in my way should it come to that!
Go to Kona's site the link is above. it should give you some comfort in deciding what size to go with. Better to be in the middle of the chart then off to one side or the other! Where do you live?
As an interesting aside, I just read that Kona is running into trademarking infringement problems with the name "Bear" and will be changing the name of the model to "Beer". Really!
