i was wondering what some other people thought about this. i'm looking for a new bike and i'm trying to decide weather i should get the new 2005 kona stinky or a rocky mountain switch. they are about the same price and i like them both but i want someone elses opinion. what do you think!

This is what you have to do, other then asking for options. Test ride each bike if you can, compare spec ect. Then decide. I have ridden the switch and the 04 stinky and i like both. But i would go with the stinky for the reason i can use a long seat post if need be and that is a big plus to me.

i have test rode both of the bikes and i like them both . i like the way they feel and the way they handle . i was just asking for down sides of the bikes or why i would not want to buy one of them.

It is hard to think of a downside with the stinky.Unless you want to complain about same design for the last 1000 years. With the fox propedal you have gotten rid of the famous bob the stinky was known for. With the switch you get the interrupted seat tube which i dislike. But that is me being anal.

Ridemonkey is a lot more helpful if you can tell us more about yourself (size wise), your budget, where/how you ride, what features you like in a bike, what your background and experience level are, etc. Anything you can tell us will help you get an actual opinion instead of snide comments or meaningless two word answers...
