I've gotten mixed reviews online. Some say best thing ever, others say it was broke in the box.....

They're the only company I am aware of that is making a remote actuated dropper post for a 27.2....

i love my Supernatural/I950 remote. do wish it was a bit lighter then 500grams but the actuation is very smooth and i like that i can lock it in any position.

Gravity Dropper and XFusion(non-remote) make a 27.2 too btw

This.

Along with hydraulic disc brakes and internet porn, it is one of the few things that has dramatically improved my life. Mine has been trouble free, no need to bleed for initial set up, no detectable play or flex, and maintenance at least looks pretty straight forward (so far I've only lubed the actuation cable). For me, its main benefit is allowing me to get lower on the bike for cornering, and I almost can't imagine riding a trail/AM bike without one now.

the top end ones made by KS all have 6 inches of movement, the 27.2 version only has three or four...which I'm not really sure is worth the extra weight and the money.

Thanks anyway. I don't think it's worth it to have it without the remote, for me, the point of having the thing would be to slam it when coming into a corner or an uphill super fast....anyway

youd be surprised how much a 4" drop would still help. my Supernatural is a 5" drop and i could live with a 4" version if i didnt have a choice.

Oh, and I would venture to guess that it's not smart to clamp a bike into a bike stand by the seat post when you have a dropper. I clamp below the seat post.
