Last weekend I went for an easy trail run in the hills near my apartment. Maybe 2 or 3 miles into the run, I saw a ladder and drop a little ways down the hill. As I came up to it, I noticed there was a cool series of jumps, ladders, and drops. I remembered seeing a thread about, and pics of these jumps about a year or so ago on this board. I was curious because I knew the jumps were in my neighborhood, but couldn't figure out where the hell they were.

I'm a miserable rider when it comes to either wheel leaving the ground. I have no intention of ever taking my bike there, but I was definitely stoked when I discovered the playground.

For those of you who have ridden there, good stuff. For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about...well, nevermind.

Yes, this is a very fun area and rare for down here in SoCal. I know the builder is working very hard to keep this place open and is working with the landowner closely. Just follow the usual rules and this place should remain available to us for quite a while.

In my defense, I've driven the 5 more times than I can count and have never seen it. As with a lot of things, it's pretty damn visible if you know where to look.

It was a little lose in places, but otherwise looked okay.

Much more work has been done recently as a new builder has taken over out there. Props to him for sprucing up an old spot.
