Hello all.

Want to give you the quick scoop for what's happening at the XC trails on the Real Life Church property.

Luckily for riders there's been a ton of effort and success in creating the new Summit Ridge Freeride Park. There has been an awful lot of effort to re-establish the Summit Ridge XC trails as well.

Couple things, to bring the trails up to par many bridges were in absolute disrepair. Almost worse than the viaduct or 520 ;) An anonymous cool guy fronted the dough to buy the materials to replace the bridges, check em out if you haven't already put tracks to em while out there.

The conditions of the bridges were so bad there was going to be no choice but to close the trails, with the idea of a fundraiser later, to shore up some funds for the materials. Well we averted the closure but we still need to pony up some cash for the effort for a couple reasons.

Firstly let's not leave the anonymous cool guy (trust me folks, he's solid) holding the bag.

And secondly any surplus money we get will be used for more goodies on the trails as there are many projects that we would like to see happen out there, as we continue to get the trails dialed. We're looking this year for a goal of $500

If you like riding at Sawyer help out the cause! If you don't cough up a few bucks we might have to send Lawrence Tierney over for a visit. He's the last person you want ringing on your doorbell, trust me.

There is to be no unauthorized building on the trails within the Church property. There is work underway to establish a long term effort with the Church so if you'd like to work on trail there stay tuned for updates, but in the meantime don't do work there without permission.

And there is a need for building materials to work on planned new projects like bridges, technical trail features, and a kiosk. We're looking for dimensional lumber, cedar for planks, rungs, sleepers, log bridges, and doug fir for stringers, sleepers, planks. And possibly stone and pavers. Have anything give a shout out, we'll get you set up with Rick who can coordinate a drop off.

Thanks for your consideration and thanks for any/all donations big or small. We certainly are looking forward to keeping the trails in great shape for year round riding, and it would be a tremendous boost with your help.
