Shut up you disbelievers!!!!!

http://www.newshounds.us/2011/06/04/after_demonstrating_a_shocking_ignorance_of_paul_revere_palin_lectures_fox_viewers_the_importance_of_being_in_touch_with_our_nations_history.php#more
Sarah Palin spent three segments on Hannity last night for some more promotion of her bus trip publicity stunt. Not surprisingly, there were no questions about her latest gaffe – in which she shockingly alleged that Paul Revere “warned, uh, the British that they weren’t gonna be takin’ away our arms uh, by ringing those bells.” This during what was supposed to be a celebration of America’s roots and origins. Maybe not even Hannity could offer enough Republican rehab for that one. But that didn’t cause any tarnish to her presidential luster, to listen to Hannity. He sat silent and approving as she lectured Fox News viewers about the importance of learning about America’s history.

Early in the interview, Palin told Hannity,

The whole purpose of this tour is to showcase America’s foundation, to talk about our Constitution, to hand out Constitutions – copy of our Constitution – as we go along looking at the historical sites on this east coast that is so beautiful, so rich in history. Sean, it’s so important that we be in touch with our nation’s history, with our past, so that we can learn from it and so that we can move forward in these very heady days in front of us, successfully. We only can do that by learning more about our past. So we’re highlighting what it is that built America, our strong foundation in order to move forward.
I was saying this is what her makes Palin. If I wrote that Revere warned the Brits to keep away from our guns, for real, I would disappear for several weeks. She lectures about studying history!

Stop doubting Sarah!

I just realized that California has open primaries, so you don't even need to change your party affiliation.

I started my own neighborhood Republican PAC so we can find the best, and I mean, worst candidate to run against Barack.

Yeah I listened to the whole thing..... Laughed the whole way thru!
Sad thing is I doubt that the caller really twigged to the massive scorn and humiliation being heaped on her.

But the really really sad thing is that she won't be one of the people that the Republican's will challenge the right to vote of on election day.

Jesus Titty****ing Christ, did you actually listen to that? I couldn't do more than 6 seconds. My ears started to bleed and I found myself subconsciously dislocating one of my own fingers. That was two hours ago, because I had to take a valium and a nap before I could even come back to my computer.
Agreed.
:twitch:

Just wow...speechless.
So yeah, we are pretty much doomed.

Well, I don't think that chick was old enough to vote, and by the time she is the chances of her finding a polling station and being there on the right day pale in comparison to an overwhelming likelihood of laziness, stupidity, and pregnancy prevailing.

I'd like to believe you...
but something leads me to believe that she is just the tip of the iceberg.

I'm sure she has plenty of family members who are old enough to vote...and are as "smart" as she is.

Riding past the morgue.
Stupid is as stupid does.
Last week, Sarah Palin told a local news station in Boston that Paul Revere "warned the British that they weren't gonna be takin' away our arms." As the news media rushed to point out that Revere was, in fact, warning the American colonists, not the British, Palin's supporters apparently attempted to update the Wikipedia entry on Revere in order to make the facts conform to Palin's version of history.

According to the revision history on the Wikipedia page, Palin supports attempted to add the line in italics below:

Revere did not shout the phrase later attributed to him ("The British are coming!"), largely because the mission depended on secrecy and the countryside was filled with British army patrols; also, most colonial residents at the time considered themselves British as they were all legally British subjects.
That revision was deleted with the explanation "content not backed by a reliable sources [sic] (it was sarah palin interview videos)."

On Sunday, Palin, a paid Fox News contributor, told "Fox News Sunday" that she was correct. She says there were British soldiers in the area for years before Revere's legendary ride, and that he was warning them, as well as his fellow colonists.

"Part of his ride was to warn the British that were already there that 'hey, you're not going to take American arms, you are not going to beat our own well-armed persons individual private militia that we have.'"

She blamed her previous answer on the media, saying it was a "gotcha question."
The Paul Revere House's website says that on April 18, 1775, Dr. Joseph Warren instructed Revere to ride to Lexington, Mass., to warn Samuel Adams and John Hancock that British troops were marching to arrest them.
Remember, if you repeat something enough times, no matter how untrue or factually inaccurate, it can become truth. Iraq has WMD's, harboring terrorists, trickle down economic theory, etc....

never let it be said i'm as smart as palin:

you know that feeling you get when you realize at the same time as the cops your story is unraveling?

she must have that feeling quite a bit, but w/o the apparent shame that motivates normal people to read a book or 10
