my dad was a trapper and would haul all 3 children with him to retrieve muskrat carcasses



that is what I meant by strange childhood.

Manhattanprjk's Twin brothers got into trapping this past year, I was laughing my @$$ off watching them try to set one of thier new traps... the damn thing was half the size of them... and the springs on traps are relentless!!! needless to say it was a funny struggle to watch...

Photos are from someone still cleaning up in New Orleans. I thought it was a big beaver. Shows how much I know about small furry woodland creatures.

Evidently they are tasty barbequed.

What's strange about that? :confused: I used to check traplines with my buddy down the street and his ol' man. And we had a family friend that I used to go check fox & 'rat traps with. He even showed me how to skin 'em. :eek:
