I'm about to buy a Lapierre X control 130 513.

If you are wondering what i'm talking about, go back looking at pictures of people doing sick skidders. Those of you who have said, hmmm nice bike, go on.

Basic question, I've found hardly anything on these bikes on the interweb but dig the DH bikes after watching them ride, and always have massive respect for anything that Nico has had a hand in. I plan on getting a stock 513 and upgrading to full XTR with an RP3.

Who's heard anything about this bike? I want one, i think the look ideal.

What about your Lahar with a short-stroke DHXair and 36s?
...sorry I have nothing more to add really.
Geometry-wise they look awesome as far as 5" xc-frames go, and it has a handy sag-indicator - not that it will change how it rides/how long it lasts.
Claimed weight of 12.2kgs...that's about 27pounds!

funnily enough I've got a 2inch stroke shock in the garage. My plan is to get some 36's and put them on my M8 lahar. you can adjust the headset so its more suited to a trail bike set up.

Be a good project when I get back to NZ.
