Just a note to let you know that tomorrow (Thur Nov 18) will be my last day at Progressive. I have taken a similar position with a company called Travelcade who makes motorcycle seats. The owner Tom Seymour is a good friend of mine and I can cut my commute considerably.

I have enjoyed my "stay" in the mountain bike scene and while I won't be "officially" involved, you can bet I'll be at some events in 2005 to say hello to all the friends I've made over the past couple of years. Maybe even bring the BBQ and fire it up for some of my chicken tacos.

What exactly was your function at Progressive aside from customer support, I applied for a R&D/prototyping/not sure what else position and didn't get it, months later I interviewed for a document control position and didn't get it either. I've got some new stuff on my resume if progressive is looking for an engineering type guy to replace you... should I send my resume out again?

I don't know Progressive but if you want to work for them give them a call and tell them you know Larry has left or else somebody is going to beat you to it.
