my last day of a too-short term at the shop is tomorrow. going up to Dallas, following my girlfriend who's got the $$$ job. sucks. i love my job, and the people that work there are awesome. i hated Austin until i got that job. now i just hate everything south of 183, and east of Mopac. took me 3yrs to get into that shop, and now that i finally got in, i have to leave. only been about 5 months. it's not the discounts i'll miss, or the wal-mart bikes getting $100 worth of work. i'm going to miss the people more than anything. it's one of those "these folk are so cool...how is any shop going to match the attitude of these guys, and the ambiance of this shop?" things.

Austin is over-populated and structured poorly. but it's built in/ around some hills...i.e. damn fine riding.

Dallas is over-populated but structured a lot better. but it's an urban jungle. that makes me sad.
