Just after a heavy round of layoffs we had the first month in the history of the company with negative margin. Actually first month of less than double digit margin %. More heads will roll.

The bunker at parliament
Had 17 layoffs from my company's in Wellington operations 7 of them from my business unit.

More to come apparently even though we are swamped with work and running a profit...... Methinks it's just a handy excuse for someone in head office to do some slash and burn to look good at the boardroom table.

The website Toshi linked doesn't work for me I don't know where I land in there categorization but we distribute industrial controls. We are actually doing well in comparison to the rest of the world. We are down 40% domestically vs 70% worldwide.:twitch:

Seriously, there have been radio commercials for Portland PD for the last week or so. If I could afford the initial pay reduction, I would strongly consider a career move.
