Its a 100 mile race from Leadville, CO. Basically a 50 mile out and back. The winner does it in a little over 7 hours, cut off is like 13 hours. Finish in 12 you get a silver belt buckle. There is like a bazillion feet of climbing.

Definately the bikey one. I can't fathom running 100 miles.

It seems like a good goal for next year.

Her projectile vomitting upon finishing wasn't the sexiest thing I had heard about either.

A friend of mine Races it (also the Vail 100). He trains like crazy and still feels like he gets slapped around. Many times he hasn't finished it. I think its tamed out a bit from what it used to be. The run-race is much harder (www.leadvilletrail100.com).

i've completed this race twice in 99 and 2000. you definetly will find out what you're made of when you're about 75mi. into it. i'm very proud of the 2 buckes i have. i highly recomend it for anyone who thinks they "have something"
