So many of you recall my asking which I should do. Now a 3rd, and probably more important, option has come up. Since the qualifier is on Celebrity Golf weekend (way too busy to get the Sunday off, unless I win lottery or my boss is really cool) and Downieville is the first Saturday in August, I just got a text that my middle brother from Phoenix may want to come up on August 8 to see Toby Keith and ride down in Mammoth. As far as I'm concerned, family comes first.
And I was leaning towards the qualifier, too, as I found out Tinker would be riding it. In all the events I've ridden that he's been in, he's lapped my fat a$$ multiple times, and I was going to do my damnedest to make sure he didn't at this one. Oh well................
