So... Today I was putting my Manitou metel back on today. I was adjusting the platform to the lowest setting with the red knob. Then I noticed a clear liquid coming from the knob. Im pretty sure this is the first time its occurred. Any ideas as if this is a bad thing? If it needs to be checked out?
I'm not really looking to get a new rear shock, but if its really needed I'll get a new one.

You say you were putting it back. Was it serviced? If this is the case the probably the oil you fond on the adjuster is just some remainder that wasn't cleaned up after the oil change. Don't worry just clean it and ride it. If more oil comes out take it to your local shop.
