I was doing a bleed last week on my acid codes with the avid bleed kit. Everything was fine until I went to bleed the line. When I went to push fluid from the caliper sideto the lever fluid came squirting out of the syringe on the caliper side. It was leaking inbetween the red threaded piece the screws into the syringe and the rubber hose. The lever was not being held down and the syringe clamp was open. I switched to the other syringe and the same exact thing happened. I got the bleed kit brand new back in august and always make sure it's empty after use. My friend thinks the brake fluid went soft since it's been open for a month or so which makes the most sense. Just wanted to see if anyone else had a similar experience.

I have had my kit for over 3 months and the fluid is just fine. I would check and make sure all of the seals on the stuff is all good. If everything is fine I would take it back to the shop and have them talk to SRAM. They are usually pretty good about that stuff.
