Is it normal you have one leg that is slightly larger and seemingly stronger? I was looking at my calves and they differed in size so I measured them around and my left one is smaller than my right by an inch. I broke my right leg a few years ago, and maybe the muscle mass is greater to compensate for the weaker bone? I dont know, just curious.
Thanks

I broke my left and have been goofy footed ever since.
Of course I didn't know my footedness when the car ran me down at age 8!

Mine will dominate yours! :blah:
Care to find out for sure? :D ;)

Yup, my left is a bit stronger than my right when pedaling but I kick better with my right.

Cheers!

I tore my ACL and more than a year after surgery I have about an inch to inch discrepancy in leg size between the left and right. The funny thing is I don't notice much of a power difference between the two. When lifting they are fairly equal and while riding I don't notice my left tiring before the right. It looks kind of funny, but doesn't seem to affect performance.

Yes, differences in strength and length are extremely common. A good coach or personal trainer can help you with strength imbalances, and a good biomechanist or pedorthotic specialist should be able to help you get any leg-length discrepancy you most likely have sorted out.
