Well, I was talking with a friend about this the other night. It could very easily been seen as good and bad. Good in the sense that the single track trails might be finally seen as "legal" and we have an opportunity to create a positive relation with land ownership and have organized trail days to maintain and build trails. Bad in that it "appears" that only trails within the campus boundaries would be considered. (ie. still might be ticketed when exiting to Hwy 9) It could also be constued as a way to control and crack down on rouge building as well as having some existing trails shut down and reclaimed. Anyway, read the proposal and get involved!
