What kind of riding is there? How close is good riding, climbing, hiking, backpacking, etc? Where are the nicer neighborhoods? What does the job market look like? Schools? General social? That route is terrible with a bike. Someone has changed it on MTBProject to remove the entire first section.
Nonsense. Route is fun on a bike. Even with all the hiking.

ETA: I'd heard rumors that bike access had been removed from the 1st section of Trail 600. I'm having a dickens of a time finding any information from the Forest Service website - it doesn't even seem to list Trail 600 up there anywhere...

The three of us didn't loop it, we left a car at the end of Burning Bear, so at the end I guarded the bikes while wife and friend retrieved our car from the top.Ahh... I think I see your problem.
No argument here.I've contended that is the hardest 20 mile shuttle ride I've ever done.
