I think we can do it.

If we hold a raffle, or some kind of RM fund raiser, maybe we can send N8 over there and he can check it out, and get some feedback from the troops first hand, and then report back to us and tell us how successful everything is.

No need. He already knows everything.

I know what I know, and the stories I've heard belong to the men and women who have been there and know what they saw. For now we will bury the heroes who have fallen and honor them knowing some time soon, the media's attention will shift..

Then we'll have to listen to the BS and misinformation from those who weren't there and/or couldn't be bothered to serve.

I know enough military members that N8 could talk to if he really wants to hear what they have to say. Ive honestly heard good and bad.

what exactly do you think the CE/EOD personnel are doing there?
i have no clue, seeing as how i don't know what CE/EOD stands for. so the air force has people on the city streets at all times, like the army and marines do?

Two guys I work are majors in the reserves, each did a year over there. Neither really want to talk about it.

civil engineers (red horse - a.k.a. "pink ponies") / explosive ordnance disposal.
