So Leatt is happening. I tried it on with my existing Giro helmet and even at full extension, it doesn't touch, so I need a new helmet too.

This technological ship has sailed on me, so I need assistance. I found a Leatt helmet, but it has a removable mouth/jaw piece, so I'm assuming that's not so great for usage with a neck brace?

Any recommendations for good, reasonable cost, MIPS (or similar) full faced helmets that play nicely with neck braces?

I don't need an $800 carbon helmet. But I know a proper full face is a couple of hundred dollars. There's a reason I'm here vs. Pinkbike.

I don't buy 800 dollar carbon helmets either but there are some good ones out there that aren't that. I use a 6D but I don't know how it works with a neck brace.

These have a similar inner shell polymer suspension thing as the 6Ds without looking like giant globe heads

I’ve been rocking a Leatt since they came out. I have used with TLD helmets. D3 on mtb and SE4 on scooters. I’ve always managed to find TLD stuff on close out somewhere as I’m way to cheap to pay full price for a carbon lid.

Just for shits I pulled up their site. $50 cheaper than anywhere else for a D4. I'm confused, but making an election.

I have my old helmet. I use it occasionally to ride snow machines. It saves me from having to borrow somebody else's helmet. I am glad I kept it.

For moto I use a Leatt helmet and brace. I've always used a Leatt brace and my old Fox helmet didn't mate well with it. I couldn't move my head enough for good vision in slow tech. Leatt fits my head well and I'll be sticking with it. I use a Leatt bicycle helmet too but never a fullface or brace on my MTB. If I were to Freeride® again, I'd give the Leatt combo a go for it.
