Trying to get my tv to play from my iPad. Bought a $16.00 thing on Amazon that doesn’t do shit. I am returning it. Can anyone advise on a device that actually works?

It is a WiFi enabled tv, but not Bluetooth, as far as I can tell.

Adapters are one thing where if there is an OEM option, its probably the best thing to try. Even if it costs a little extra.
You'll know that it works and there will be less frustration. Some adapters are super finicky, only work in one direction, require external power etc etc.
