but sick video, regardless, and rohrl is one of the very best drivers ever.

It's not the car's fault, he was driving it like an ass on purpose.

It was also set up to "drift", judging from how twitchy it was on the straightish sections.

He was braking too early and throwing the car sideways with just a little steering, then correcting and sliding through the rest of the turns. Not the fast way around the track. But, it makes for good video...

what a show off...
the hilltops where the car gets light and tail happy are scary...

jmight, i think he got "only" in the mid 8s because maybe he was showing off (thus all the corrections post-apex) rather than race-driving.. or if he wasnt, it seems that car gets an awful turbo spike...
