What is the difference? I always thought slic cabe was linear cable, but looking around I guess not. What are the benefits to either? And most importantly, which offers the best brake performance/feel? :clue:

hmm, just get the odyssey linear slic cable, problem solved. I think slic is just the lube or coating on the cable. If you just have a linear cable, throw some white lightening on there.

Linear cables don't bunch up when you do bar spins, and tail whips.

Well here's the thing; danscomp has either Odyssey Linear cable OR Odyssey Slic Cable

Linear Cable

Slic Cable

I would guess that the Linear cable is Slic as well, but it's weird they have 2 separate cables and don't specifically state it. Meh, I'll just get the Linear cable.

Slic=regular housing, slick cable

Linear=linear (doesn't bunch up) housing, slick cable.

You want the linear.
