Hey was hoping somebody could give me some advice on my busted 40.
Have a 09 40 got a brand new 2011 fit cartridge installed last month at the platty GRT. On sat, I succeeded in breaking something. My fork now has no rebound dampening the first 4 inches of travel is just spring. However, it still has compression dampening.
Has anyone else had any kind of issue with the newer 40s? I am trying to figure out exactly what broke, took it apart bladder is intact no leaking seals.
Also, my next dilemma is what do to about this issue. I am trying to decide between sending it off to fox, for who knows how long. Or waiting until the Windham WC where I was planning on racing the citizens race and hoping I could get a fox tech to look at it with my number plate.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
