Our daughter is on the verge of walking, I can not imagine her talking let alone working at Target.

A few new shots of the girls.

Evy broke her pinky finger a couple weeks ago. The doc was nice and hooked her up with a pink AND purple cast. It's given her plenty of street cred with all her friends.

i was going to start a separate thread about this but i figured only the parent monkies would care anyway so i'll just post the short version here.

my daughters are beyond obsessed with horses but, unfortunately, i don't really have access to any. i learn that a coworker of mine has a family horse ranch (family owns an environmental solutions company) complete with a full stable, shetland ponies, man-made lake and a bunch of toys to explore the land on. i tell her about my daughters infatuation with horses and that she could make me the coolest dad if she could hook up some type of tour.
well, we both work different schedules so it was difficult to nail down a time but last week we finally got everything worked out and OMG! was it awesome! not only did we get to ride horses, she let my girls decorate a shetland pony, we went fishing/boating/swimming and 4-wheeling. such a rad family day :thumb:

some pics.
my youngest, emily, getting her first look at the miniatures

5 yr old excited to be there

noah on the "skippy"

emily

mikaela living her dream, riding by herself. (notice that she's so small she can barely fit on the saddle...she's only 30lbs)

the girls dressing up a miniature

that poor horse

noah and i on our way out to the trails

emily with our host....she is coolest cop ever :thumb:

mikaela with ranch owner

cool pic of me/noah walking in stride at the lake

the paddle boat before i figured out that i should sit in the middle

throwing noah into the lake (about 12' deep right at the edge)

i had no idea i threw her that high...no wonder she went so deep. but she loved it and kept asking for more :D

that's all of the good ones. it was so nice to have a dream fulfilling family day...it's nice to have friends in farm places ;)
