Mini-me's first day of 1st grade today. He is clearly not a morning person 
We went to the grand opening of the new No ja Warrior gym in town today (Ninja Nation). Haley made it up the 8' warped wall on her 5th try. She got a mouthed 'holy shit' from one of the regular competitors (Captain NBC - dude with the green hair) to another (forgot her name). I'm assuming because of how little she is?
They we're quite fond of her Wonder Woman dress too. She got a second session, which she wasn't supposed to because there was a line. We helped out a bit when the bouncy house generator ran out of gas, running an extension cord, then watching the kids playing so one of the staff could take a break. The gym manager (also a Ninja) told her come in for a second 30min session, which was awesome.

Single dad got custody of my kids at 3 and 6 years old I was sleep deprived for years laundry, dishes cooking dinner baths homework driving them to sports sleepovers doctor appointments etc now my youngest is 19 it cost me $600 a week to pay for her college it's rough BUT today I got home from work and found this card on the coffee table my daughter drove an hour from school to home so when I got home it was waiting for me

Trick or treating in the rain last night with my buddy's kids. My son is in the yellow Bowser costume.
Kiddo said she was bored, so I told her to draw a portrait of her magnificent father...guess i asked for it.
I think she was trying to highlight that I have ever expanding forehead (think Troy Brosan, but moar). And maybe the bone in my jaw is migrating into my forehead? Seems legit...

The indoor skate park opening in my backyard had a "kids open doors session" to record some social media promo stuff last weekend

Blazer game Friday, Winterhawks hockey on Sunday. Very sportsball weekend. He enjoyed the first 2 periods.
We got the "official" photos. There are some good ones. Lil Man dishing out fist bumps during the intros.
