I have been searching every bike or sports store for a livestrong band, because i have wanted one since the begining, but they have always been sold out. I thought somebody on ebay might have a pack of them for sale. Low and behold, people are selling them for about $10 a piece. I think this is disrepectful to lance, to the whole meaning behind the bracelets. I wouldnt mind if the 10 was going to the LAF, but 9 of that is just going to ebay seller's pocket. I dont like it.

There's plenty of Cancer Care places and hospitals you could call up and donate something. Alot of the kids with cancer could use video games and stuff like that if you got some old or new ones to give away.....
Besides the yellow bracelet thing looks dumb anyways....

to me honestly it's not that people are selling them it's that consumers are willing to pay more and not promote the cause, they just wana look like people they think are cool. But honestly if you look deep enough (or not even really that deep) that's what America is, America is consumerism period. it's going to kill us as a country and as humans pretty soon.
I on the other hand am expecting a couple of boxes any day now. When I give them away I’m going to suggest that people make a small donation through the laf site to help promote the cause.

Plus if you do that noone is taking a cut of the money so more of it goes to the cause. Not saying it's happening here but lots of money is made collecting money for charities. It's allways worth checking exacly how much of your $ is absorbed by administration and marketing costs.
