Damn it was hot today. High 90's, no shade and barely any dry breeze to boot yet many pros showed up on a rather fun, easy but fast Fontana, CA Cal State Series #2 race. Ok, it was kinda retarded of a course but hell, it's racing!!

One of the Madcatz (Sam Hill or Atkinson) on dw's toy.
Sam Hill went nuts and roosted the whole field with ridiculous times. Atkinson finished 2nd.. 1-2 for Madcatz

Andrew (Speedjunkie) finished 4th in Semi Pro.
Bashed his E13 chainguide, came loose but held on. He received a whopping $800 payback for finishing 4th :p

The bike handled flawlessly today. The new Hutchinson DH tires are working great. No mechanicals, no crash just a couple of mistakes.
It's so nice to be back in saddle racing again. It's been so long!! My out of shape lard ass managed to bail myself out today for a 5th place podium finish..

I love seeing pros racing with hand written number plates. The only thing better would have been if they used paper plates and wire ties. :p

Good pics. It was great to talk with you guys this weekend. Did she get any pics of us old guys? How did you finish? I ended up 2 and my son Thomas got 1.

Classic moment of the weekend.... I'm watching the Experts go off and Mr. Pink Socks rides by, "Hey Linda, WAZZZUUUPPPPP!!!" Yes, in his race run. LOL!

It was fun to see the (super-fast) visitors on one of our home courses. They braved the heat like the rest of us and got some spending $$. Nice job by Southridge.

That's both RACE RUNS, mrs thang!!! :p Thanks for chattin with me on my race runs. We have pcitures of Stu and you, I think. I felt good on my second run that I brappt'ed all the way down to where heather was taking a picture of me by the rock jump. She can tell you better about our "conversation" as I jumped the rock and around the bridge.. people were laughing!!! I was just having fun, yo!!

Hey Roger, I'll check her picture stash and see if we have some of you. Nice seeing you there and that was a really fun fasssssssssssssssssst course..
