Lock-ons on carbon bars?

I would hope so. If they can't handle a little pressure from the clamps, how are they going to hold up to your weight bouncing around on them???

Interested in seeing replies from people who know more about this than I do.

Most carbon bars are reinforced in that area to support bolting on brake levers shifters bar ends etc. Some carbon bars have warnings not to use bar ends if you cut them. I would be a little careful with the outboard clamp in that case.

That's what I figured, just wanted to make sure.

The issue isn't with the pressure. It's with the bar being scored by the metal.

Those little clamps on the lock-on grips are pretty cheaply made. Just make sure there are no rough edges that are going to score the carbon.
