i just saw on one Croatian site that mayor Ken Livingstone of London will bring the law that every bicycle must have registartion plates like on moto-bikes and cars, he say that it will cut the criminals on bikes(?!) because their CCTV cameras will catch them
Cameras are all over the London so it will be very easy when bicycle have plates.

*on 14 citizens of london there is one CCTV camera.

*bikeras will be "filmed" by cameras about 300 times in one day...

*about 450,000 bicycles riders ride every day in London

Yeah, cause it doesn't work anyway. My brother in law lived there. When people stole his license plate from his motorcycle, the DMV equivilant just gave him another with the same exact number...So he kept getting tickets from the cameras, even though the bike with the stolen plate was a different color and model from his bike.

I'd guess it will be much the same with bicycles.
